ECUSA Velocities by Emtuk

• Velocity database is a companion or stand alone product to the ECUSA Seismic files.
• The viewer can go to emtuk.net  to view more about the velocity data set.   We offer here the following displays which are part of the work product that Emtuk produced from the velocities taken form the seismic and the wells on the East Coast of the USA:

All of the seismic and well data was gathered and catalogued and used.  On the right the processor has plotted a well velocity curve against the seismic velocities derived from the data.  The curve gave the processor a graphic view of the results of this part of his work very quickly.

The processor displays here a  velocity field over a large part of the complete East Coast USA.  Al velocities were computed using seismic and well data.  Some of the velocities were received in a digital form.  Other were picked from pictures of sections that were supplied.
